Hanoi:Spot gold prices fell 0.2% to $4,185.13 per ounce after reaching their highest level since October 2 earlier in the session. US gold futures for December delivery also dropped 0.2% to $4,209.70 per ounce.

Among other metals, spot silver increased by 0.2% to $60.95 per ounce, platinum rose 0.8% to $1,701.18 per ounce, and palladium edged up 0.1% to $1,159.62 per ounce.
