Doha: The price of gold in the Qatari market rose by 1.34 percent during the current week, reaching USD 2,785.31000 per ounce, according to data issued by Qatar National Bank (QNB).
According to Qatar News Agency, the data showed that the price of gold rose from USD 2,748.21660 per ounce recorded last Sunday. The data also indicated that the rest of the precious metals recorded a weekly decline. Silver saw a decrease of 0.40 percent, reaching USD 33.61410 per ounce on Thursday, down from USD 33.75000 recorded on Sunday. Platinum experienced a decline of 1.45 percent, recording USD 1,013.62000 per ounce on Thursday, compared to USD 1,028.62000 per ounce at the beginning of the week.
