Doha: The price of gold in the Qatari market rose by 0.48 percent over the past week, reaching USD 3,379.69 per ounce, according to data released by Qatar National Bank (QNB).
According to Qatar News Agency, QNB data showed that the price of gold increased from USD 3,363.2522 recorded last Sunday.
As for other precious metals, silver rose by 2.6 percent on a weekly basis to reach USD 38.0369 per ounce, up from USD 37.07 at the start of the week.
Platinum rose by 1.07 percent, reaching USD 1,336.30 per ounce, compared to USD 1,322.0682 at the beginning of the week.
