Lebanese Forces leader, Samir Geagea, on Tuesday criticized the recent Cabinet decision 63/2024, which allows Syrian students to enroll in Lebanese public, technical, and vocational schools regardless of their legal status. In a statement on X, Geagea argued that the decision extends beyond students in Lebanon, inviting those in Syria, Jordan, Turkey, and elsewhere to register. The LF leader described the decision as a violation of laws and national sovereignty, labeling it a severe threat to Lebanese identity. Geagea condemned it as "the joke of the century or the scandal of the century," with more to be discussed. Source: National news agency - Lebanon
