GCC Secretary-General Affirms Commitment to Achieving Top Food Safety Standards

Kuwait City: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, reaffirmed today GCC countries' commitment to achieving the highest standards of food safety. Speaking at the 9th Council of the GCC Ministerial Committee on Food Safety in Kuwait, Al Budaiwi emphasized that the health of both citizens and residents is a top priority for food safety in the region, reflected in the ongoing strategic investments in health and food safety.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Budaiwi pointed out that GCC countries have earned a distinguished status both regionally and globally, ranking among the top in various sectors, particularly food safety. This commitment has led to the GCC becoming a sought-after partner for many countries and organizations looking to forge strategic alliances.
