Gaza: The Government Media Office in Gaza announced that the average number of civilian martyrs reached 92 Palestinians per day since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Office reported that among the daily average are 27 children, 14 women, 12 mothers, and 30 fathers. It noted that the Israeli occupation commits massacres against 53 families every day, completely annihilating four families, while eight families are left with only a single survivor.
The statement added that over the past 48 hours, Israeli occupation launched 131 airstrikes on the Strip, resulting in 94 civilian deaths. It further noted that the occupation continues its assault with complete disregard for calls to cease fire announced by US President Donald Trump, as well as for the positive response expressed to the proposed truce.
Israeli occupation forces have been waging a devastating war on the besieged Gaza Strip, which has so far, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, claimed the lives of 67,139 people, injured 169,583 others, and left more than 9,000 missing. The war also caused a famine that killed hundreds, while over two million Palestinians continue to endure conditions of forced displacement and widespread destruction.
