Gaza Ceasefire Violations Report Details High Casualty Figures and Aid Shortages

Gaza:The Government Media Office in Gaza Strip reported significant violations of the ceasefire agreement by Israeli forces, resulting in the deaths of 1,593 Palestinians and injuries to 5,748 others. Additionally, 217 individuals have been arbitrarily detained since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025.

According to Qatar News Agency, the report outlined that only 77,657 aid trucks have been allowed entry into Gaza out of the agreed 232,800, meeting only 33.3 percent of the region's needs. Furthermore, travel through the Rafah land crossing has been severely restricted, with only 14,821 travelers, including patients and humanitarian cases, passing through from a planned 40,000, reflecting a 37 percent compliance rate.

The Media Office detailed that in October alone, Israeli forces committed 753 violations, averaging 24.3 violations per day. These included 346 shooting incidents, 310 bombardments, 64 home demolitions, and 21 military vehicle incursions. The actions resulted in the deaths of 145 Palestinians and injuries to 672 others. Of those killed, 21 were children, 14 women, 2 elderly individuals, and 108 men. Those injured included 182 children, 129 women, 30 elderly individuals, and 331 men, with 19 arrests recorded.

The report highlighted a significant decrease in aid deliveries during October, with only 3,777 trucks entering, representing a 20.3 percent compliance rate. The shipments included aid, commercial goods, and fuel trucks, with fuel deliveries meeting just 15.9 percent of the agreed volume.

The Government Media Office condemned the Israeli occupation for its actions, holding it and its supporting states responsible for the humanitarian crisis. The office urged the international community to pressure Israel to cease its aggression, open border crossings, and ensure the urgent delivery of aid and medical supplies.
