Beirut: The Lebanese army announced that a military personnel and three citizens were injured during the persistent Israeli onslaught on the southern border regions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese army highlighted that this aggression is part of the relentless Israeli offensive in the southern border regions, during which the Israeli occupation army opened fire at the military personnel and citizens on the Yaroun-Maroun Al-Ras Road, which injured four people among them a military personnel.

The 60-day deadline for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation military forces from villages and towns along the southern border of Lebanon expired on Sunday, as part of the ceasefire deal reached on Nov. 27, 2024. However, the White House recently announced an extension of this deal until Feb. 18, 2025.
