Pretoria: HE Thabo Mbeki, former President of the Republic of South Africa and Chairman of the Thabo Mbeki Foundation, met with HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad during her current visit to South Africa.

According to Qatar News Agency, discussions during the meeting focused on ways to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of development, research, and knowledge exchange. They also explored partnership opportunities to support initiatives aimed at empowering communities across the African continent.

Both sides emphasized the importance of joint action to fortify regional and international efforts in peace and sustainable development.
