Manchester: Manchester City announced today that they extended the contract of Portuguese defender Ruben Dias to 2029.

According to Qatar News Agency, the 28-year-old defender expressed his delight in renewing his contract with the club on the team's official website. Dias emphasized his determination to help Manchester City secure more trophies in the coming years.

Ruben Dias joined Manchester City in September 2020 after transferring from Portuguese club Benfica. Since his arrival, he has made over 200 appearances for the club and has been instrumental in securing ten titles, including four Premier League titles and the prestigious 2023 Champions League.
