Arsenal: Arsenal Football Club announced today the signing of young Spanish defender Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia during the current summer transfer window, in preparation for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
According to Qatar News Agency, the club stated that Mosquera has signed a five-year contract. The 21-year-old featured in 37 out of 38 La Liga matches for Valencia last season, playing every minute of those games.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised the young defender's technical skills, the experience he gained in La Liga, his speed, and his ability to play in central midfield on either side.
It is worth noting that Arsenal finished second in the Premier League table last season with 74 points, ten points behind champions Liverpool.
