Doha: The Qatar men’s national volleyball team has secured its place in the second round of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship, taking place in Bahrain from June 17 to 24, following Kazakhstan’s withdrawal from the tournament.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) had announced Saturday that the Kazakhstan team, which were grouped together with Qatar and Australia in Group B, have officially withdrawn just days before the tournament kickoff.

As a result, the executive committee, in coordination with the tournament technical committee, made several adjustments to ensure the smooth and organized continuation of the competition.
