Gaza city: Five Palestinians were martyred and others wounded Thursday as a result of Israeli shelling in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the occupation forces targeted the Zarqa area in the town of Jabalia, north of the Strip, resulting in the deaths of five citizens.

Medical sources reported that 74 citizens have been killed since dawn Thursday as a result of the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on various areas in the Strip.
