Khan Younis: Five Palestinians were martyred, and others wounded as the Israeli occupation forces continued their bombardment of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, two Palestinians were martyred in an aerial offensive targeting the Qeizan Al Najjar area south of the city, while two others were killed in separate air raids on Abasan Al Kabira, east of Khan Younis, local sources reported.

Meanwhile, medical sources confirmed the martyrdom of another civilian who succumbed to wounds sustained when his home in central Khan Younis was bombed, joining his two children who had earlier been killed in the same attack.

Al Awda Hospital stated that Israeli drones directly opened fire on an ambulance inside the hospital courtyard in the Tal Al Zaatar area in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces have launched an unrelenting war of annihilation on the Gaza Strip, since Oct. 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 53,486 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and the injury of 121,398 others.

These are not final figures, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, beyond the reach of emergency and civil defense rescuers.
