Doha: Five people were killed and two others injured in an initial toll from an Israeli airstrike on Sunday southern of Lebanon. In a statement, the Emergency Operations Center of Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health reported that five people, including three children, were killed and two others wounded in a drone strike carried out by the Israeli entity on the city of Bint Jbeil.

According to Qatar News Agency, a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon came into effect on November 27, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern border villages and towns within 60 days. The Lebanese government later agreed to extend the deadline until February 18. However, Israeli occupation forces remained stationed at five points and continue their violations.
