Barcelona: At least five people were killed and four others injured in a fire that broke out in a residential building in Barcelona, northeastern Spain. The blaze started in a storage room on the top floor of the building before smoke spread throughout the structure, emergency services said in a statement. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control within a short period, while ambulance crews treated the injured at the scene.
According to Qatar News Agency, a similar incident occurred last year when a tank explosion triggered a fire at the Port of Barcelona, resulting in one death and one injury.
