Doha: European stock indices closed mixed at the end of today's trading session: The pan-European Stoxx 600 index closed up by 0.2%, marking its highest closing level in over five months.

According to Qatar News Agency, Germany's DAX index ended the session down by 145.97 points, or 0.6%, closing at 24,277.10 points. In contrast, the UK's FTSE 100 index rose by 98.92 points, or 1.08%, to close at 9,288.14 points, setting a record high for the second consecutive day.

Meanwhile, France's CAC 40 index dipped by 6.05 points, or 0.08%, to close at 7,973.03 points.
