"It is high time to end this war, free the hostages, ensure the unimpeded access of humanitarian aid to Gaza. And it is high time to stop violent settlers and destruction in the West Bank, and to put an end to the illegal occupation of the Palestinian Territories," Borrell added on X platform. According to Qatar News Agency, Borrell expressed his concerns about the ongoing violence and the lack of intervention to halt the deteriorating situation. He emphasized the urgency of addressing the humanitarian crisis, noting that "no one seems to be able or willing to stop this." Borrell further highlighted the challenges faced by international organizations on the ground, stating that "violent settlers spread destruction, hospitals are besieged, UNRWA's activities more and m ore at risk." His statements reflect the dire conditions under which civilians and aid workers are operating. The report also detailed the severe impact of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023. The violence has resulted in the martyrdom of 43,374 Palestinians and injuries to 102,261 others. Additionally, thousands of victims remain missing, either trapped under the rubble or scattered in the streets, inaccessible to rescue teams.
