Kuwait City: The EU-Kuwait Culture Forum concluded Monday, with the participation of a number of archaeological experts and researchers in the fields of history and civilization from the State of Kuwait and the EU. Participants presented their various experiences in cultural cooperation and ways to develop it towards broader horizons. According to Qatar News Agency, on the sidelines of the forum, Secretary-General of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) Dr. Mohammad Al-Jassar emphasized Kuwait's interest in strengthening cultural and civilizational ties and building common bridges with countries around the world, especially the EU. For her part, EU Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, Anne Koistinen, stressed the vital role of culture and civilization in bringing peoples and countries together, describing cultural exchange as one of the key bridges of human communication and a solid foundation for building fruitful relations in other fields. The forum celebrated the selection of Kuwait as the Arab Capital of Culture and Media for 2025 and was organized in collaboration with the EU Delegation to Kuwait and the NCCAL.
