Doha: Es'hailSat, Qatar Satellite Company, has announced a strategic expansion with Viasat Energy Services, a unit of Viasat, Inc. Viasat has increased its satellite capacity on the Es'hail-1 satellite, positioned at the 25.5 degrees East hotspot, to offer VSAT services across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
According to Qatar News Agency, Viasat Energy Services focuses on empowering industrial companies by leveraging digital transformation through optimized solutions, global software, and secure communications infrastructure. This partnership aims to support operations in remote areas and complex environments, providing a reliable connection for distributed assets.
Es'hailSat and Viasat Energy Services target sectors like Oil and Gas that require dependable high-speed connectivity in challenging environments. Ali Ahmed Al-Kuwari, President and CEO of Es'hailSat, expressed excitement about enhancing satellite capacity for Viasat's VSAT Network, which is crucial for high-speed connectivity in the MENA region.
