The Emirates Red Crescent Authority, in cooperation with Lattakia Governorate, completed the preparation of Al-Naqaa site in Jableh city , which was prepared as part of a project to implement 1,000 housing units for those affected by the earthquake.
The site includes 47 housing units equipped with suitable supplies for the residence of the families affected by the earthquake according to the priorities identified by the administrative units.
The site was inaugurated Saturday by the Governor of Lattakia, Eng. Amer Hilal, and Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, Hammoud Abdullah Al-Junaibi, in addition to that they inaugurated two new halls in Faculty of Dentistry containing 60 medical chairs and six mobile X-ray machines, and two halls in the Faculty of Civil Engineering containing 201 computers.
Chargé d’Affaires of the United Arab Emirates Embassy, Counselor Abdul Hakim Ibrahim al-Nuaimi, affirmed that his country continued to support the Syrian people in the post-earthquake recovery phase, adding that the purpose of tour is to brief the housing units as well as opening of new halls in Tishreen University.
In his turn , Lattakia’s Governor , Eng. Amer Hilal, thanked the support of the UAE, as “Al-Naq’a” site in Jableh city has been completed, and it is one of Seven sites in which 1,000 housing units will be implemented successively within 4 months.
