Jenin: An elderly Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in the Jenin refugee camp on Sunday morning.
According to Qatar News Agency, crews of the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) transported the body of the 73-year-old man from the entrance of the camp to the hospital following the deadly shooting by Israeli soldiers.
This brings the total number of Palestinians martyred since the start of Israel's wide-scale onslaught on Jenin to 25.
Simultaneously, occupation forces continue to reinforce their military presence in Jenin city and its refugee camp, with additional troops arriving from multiple directions. The demolition of homes in various parts of the camp also remains ongoing.
In addition, around 100 homes in the refugee camp have been completely destroyed, and local hospitals are facing severe water shortages after the occupation forces targeted and damaged water lines. Nearly 35% of the city's population is currently without access to water, WAFA said.
