Gaza city: Eight Palestinians, including four children, were killed on Saturday in an Israeli drone attack on Al Duraj Neighborhood in Gaza City, local sources reported. The incident marks a continuation of the ongoing conflict in the region, contributing to the growing number of casualties.
According to Qatar News Agency, the sources added that 72 Palestinians have been shot by Israeli firepower since dawn today, with 42 of these incidents occurring in Gaza City alone. The attacks have intensified throughout the day, targeting various parts of the Gaza enclave.
Earlier today, Gaza's Ministry of Health reported that the death toll from the relentless onslaught the Israeli occupation forces have been launching on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has hitherto soared to 65,926, with 167,783 reported wounded. These figures illustrate the severe and ongoing impact of the conflict on the civilian population in the region.
