Cairo: President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting with Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani. The talks took place on Wednesday and included significant discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing pressing regional issues. According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting began with the Qatari Prime Minister conveying greetings from HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to President El Sisi, along with his wishes for the Egyptian leader's health and the prosperity of the Egyptian people. In response, President El Sisi asked the Prime Minister to extend his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him well-being and continued advancement for the people of Qatar. The discussions between the two leaders focused on strengthening the cooperative ties between Egypt and Qatar. They also reviewed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Lebanon, addressing a range of issues that are of mutual interest to both nations.
