Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and a number of regional issues of mutual interest in a phone call Tuesday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two leaders stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the entry of humanitarian aid. They emphasized the importance of building on the significant support for the Arab-Islamic plan to rebuild the Strip and implement it as soon as possible to save the Palestinian people from the humanitarian tragedy they are experiencing.
