Egyptian President Affirms Continued Mediation Efforts to Halt Regional War

Kuwait city: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized Thursday that Egypt remains committed to its mediation efforts to end the ongoing war in the region, warning that the continuation of the conflict will carry a hefty toll. In a speech, President El-Sisi stated that Egypt has been keen to prevent this escalation because it knows well, from its own experience, that wars bring nothing but ruin, destruction, and harm to the interests and resources of peoples.

According to Qatar News Agency, President El-Sisi further noted that the current war is the result of miscalculations and errors in judgment. He highlighted Egypt's dedication to acting as a mediator to prevent further deterioration of the situation. President El-Sisi's remarks underline the importance of diplomatic efforts in resolving conflicts and reiterate Egypt's historical role in seeking peaceful solutions to regional disputes.
