Doha: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty affirmed his country's support for the National Committee for the Administration of the Gaza Strip (NCAG). During his meeting today with NGAC Chairperson Ali Shaath, the Egyptian Foreign Minister underlined the role the committee will play in managing the daily affairs of the Strip's residents and meeting their basic needs.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized the necessity of completing the steps required to implement the remaining requirements of the second phase of US President Donald Trump's plan for the Gaza Strip. Key among these steps are the formation and deployment of the international stabilization force, the continued provision of humanitarian and relief aid to the Strip, and paving the way for the early recovery and reconstruction phase.
