Cairo: Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production General Abdel Mageed Saqr met with President of the Arab Military Sports Federation Major General Youssef Dasmal Al Kuwari.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, General Abdel Mageed Saqr expressed his appreciation for the Federation's efforts to elevate the level of military sports across Arab countries. He emphasized that the championships and activities organized by the Arab Military Sports Federation play a crucial role in strengthening ties among Arab nations. These initiatives maximize capabilities and resources, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and enhance the physical fitness of armed forces personnel.

Major General Youssef Dasmal Al Kuwari, on his part, appreciated the support of the Egyptian Armed Forces for all Federation activities. He highlighted the Federation's vision to keep Arab military sports at the forefront, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of the Arab Military Sports Federation awarded the Federation's First-Class Gold Medal and its Gold Shield to General Abdel Mageed Saqr and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces. This was in recognition of the Egyptian Armed Forces' ongoing support for military sports.
