According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers discussed preparations for the upcoming Peace Council meeting in Washington and ongoing Arab and Islamic coordination for the meeting. They specifically addressed the full implementation of all provisions of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan without exception. Both ministers affirmed their support for President Trump's stance against the annexation of the West Bank.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister reiterated his country's support for deploying an international stabilization force to monitor the ceasefire's implementation and highlighted the importance of humanitarian access. He stressed the necessity of Israel's withdrawal from controlled areas within the Gaza Strip and the importance of maintaining the unity of Palestinian territory. He rejected any attempts that could separate the Gaza Strip from the West Bank or undermine its unity.
