Egypt President, Dutch PM Discuss Developments in Gaza

According to Qatar News Agency, El-Sisi discussed during the call Egypt's intensive efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, ensure the urgent and sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid, work toward the release of hostages and detainees, and create the appropriate conditions to resume the political process aimed at implementing the two-state solution and establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the June 4, 1967 borders, as the only path to achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.

The Egyptian president also reiterated his country's firm rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land, while stressing the need to expedite the launch of the Gaza Strip's reconstruction process immediately after a ceasefire is reached.

For his part, the Dutch prime minister expressed his country's appreciation for Egypt's vigorous efforts to achieve a ceasefire, secure the release of hostages, and deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
