HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah participated in opening session of the 20th Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) currently being convened in the Republic of Singapore and the roundtable meeting for Their Excellencies ministers participating in the meeting.

The meeting discussed security and defence challenges facing Asia and the world in general, in addition to possible solutions to achieve security and stability.

The SLD is a governmental security summit which is held annually by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) with the participation of prime ministers, ministers of defense, senior military leaders, along with defense and security policies makers from all over the world.
