Doha: HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani participated in several bilateral meetings with senior international officials during the second day of the 9th Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX) 2026.

According to Qatar News Agency, Sheikh Saoud engaged in discussions with HE Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Lebanon Michel Menassah, HE Minister of National Defense of Colombia Pedro Arnulfo Sanchez Suarez, HE Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Thailand Lt. Gen. Nattarak Thitathan, and other high-ranking defense officials from Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Montenegro.

The meetings focused on topics of mutual interest and explored avenues for strengthening and developing bilateral defense relations. These discussions were attended by several ranking officers and officials, highlighting the significance of international collaboration in defense matters.
