Deposit Rates Announced By Qatar National Bank Reflect Variations Across Currencies

Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been outlined, showing specific rates for various currencies and tenors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the rates for USD deposits range from 3.65234% for a one-month term to 3.65308% for a twelve-month term, indicating minor fluctuations over the period. Japanese Yen (JPY) deposits start at a constant 0.70000% for one to three-month terms, before increasing to 1.12000% for a twelve-month deposit.

For deposits in Swiss Francs (CHF), rates begin at -0.14000% for a one-month term and rise to 0.13000% for a twelve-month term, showing a notable shift into positive territory as the term increases. British Pound (GBP) deposits show a consistent upward trend from 3.67000% for one month to 4.48000% for twelve months.

The deposit rates for Qatari Riyal (QAR) start at 4.04720% for a one-month term, gradually decreasing to 3.75000% for a twelve-month term. Saudi Riyal (SAR) rates are consistent at 4.30000% from the two-month to the twelve-month term, with a slightly higher rate of 4.50000% for a one-month deposit.

The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) deposit rates show an increasing trend from 2.05000% for one month to 3.15000% for twelve months. On the other hand, Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates decrease from 4.60000% for one month to 4.10000% for twelve months. These variations reflect the dynamic nature of deposit rates across different currencies and terms as presented by QNB.
