Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning for strong winds expected in inshore areas during the daytime. Strong winds and high seas are also anticipated offshore on Sunday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the department's daily weather report indicated that inshore conditions will remain hot during the day and slightly dusty to dusty in certain areas, moderating by night. Offshore conditions are forecasted to be slightly dusty at times.
Inshore winds are predicted to be northwesterly, ranging from 13 to 23 knots, with gusts reaching up to 33 knots during the day, decreasing to 5 to 15 knots by night. Offshore, winds will also be northwesterly, ranging from 12 to 22 knots with gusts up to 32 knots at times, decreasing to 7 to 17 knots later.
Sea conditions inshore are expected to range from 3 to 5 feet, decreasing to 1 to 3 feet later, while offshore seas are anticipated to be between 4 to 8 feet, peaking at 10 feet, and then falling to 2 to 4 feet.
Visibility inshore is expected to range from 4 to 9 kilometers, dropping to 3 kilometers or less in some areas during the day. Offshore visibility is forecasted to be between 5 and 9 kilometers.
The report also provided tidal information for several areas, including Doha, Dukhan, Messaid, Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, and Abu Samra. Additionally, sunrise is expected at 04:45 LT, with sunset at 18:16 LT.
