Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning about expected strong winds and high seas on Sunday, predicting moderate daytime temperatures with some clouds and relatively cold conditions by night.
According to Qatar News Agency, the department's daily report notes that offshore conditions will be partly cloudy at times. Inshore winds are expected to shift from northwesterly to southwesterly at 5 to 15 knots initially, later changing to northeasterly. Offshore, the winds will primarily be northwesterly to westerly at 5 to 15 knots, potentially reaching 25 knots at first.
Sea conditions inshore are forecasted to range between 1 and 2 feet, with a rise to 5 feet initially. Offshore, the seas will range from 2 to 4 feet, possibly surging to 8 feet at times. Visibility is expected to be between 5 and 10 kilometers both inshore and offshore.
The report also provides specific high and low tide times, as well as temperature ranges for various locations. For instance, Doha will experience high tide at 02:14 and 14:18, low tide at 09:54 and 20:20, with temperatures ranging from 18 to 27 degrees Celsius. Similar details are given for other areas including Dukhan, Messaid, Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, and Abu Samra.
Sunrise and sunset times are listed as 05:28 LT and 17:48 LT, respectively.
