Department of Meteorology Warns of Expected Poor Horizontal Visibility.

Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be misty to foggy at places at first, and relatively hot daytime with some clouds at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected poor horizontal visibility at places at first. Offshore, the weather will be hazy at times, and will see some clouds, the report added. According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be variable less than 05 KT at first, becoming mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 05 - 15 KT. Offshore, it will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 06 - 16 KT. The sea state inshore will be 1 - 3 ft, while offshore will be 2 - 4 ft. Visibility inshore will range between 5 - 9 / 2 km or less at places at first, while offshore it will be between 4 - 10 km. The report further detailed the tidal patterns for various regions. In Doha, high tides are expected at 08:34 and 19:08, with low tides at 01:38 and 23:07. Mesaieed will see high tide at 10:25, and Wakrah will expe rience high tides at 09:25 and 20:41. Al Khor is projected to have high tides at 18:27 and 08:12. Ruwais will have high tides at 08:12 and 21:26, while Dukhan will have them at 01:31 and 13:26. Abu Samra is expected to experience high tides at 01:12 and 13:28. The maximum temperatures across these areas will range from 26 to 32 degrees Celsius. Sunrise is slated for 05:55 LT, and sunset is expected at 16:44 LT, providing a relatively short daylight period for the region. The Department of Meteorology advises caution due to the potential for reduced visibility, especially during the morning hours when foggy conditions are most likely.
