Delegation from Supreme Judiciary Council Participates in 1st GCC Law and Arbitration Week

Manama: A delegation from the Supreme Judiciary Council, headed by HE President of the Investment and Trade Court Judge Khalid bin Ali Al Obaidly, participated in the 1st GCC Law and Arbitration Week. The event was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain from January 26 to 30, attracting around 2,000 participants from over 20 countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation included HE Senior Judge at the Court of Appeal Ali Issa Al Khulaifi, HE First Vice-President of the Court of First Instance Judge Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Sulaiti, and several officials from the Investment and Commerce Court. This event, organized by the GCC Commercial Arbitration Center, serves as a platform for exchanging expertise in law and arbitration and contributes to enhancing regional cooperation, thus supporting sustainable economic development.

The GCC Law and Arbitration Week is an important step toward developing the business and investment environment in the region. It aims to enhance sustainable economic growth and strengthen the position of the GCC countries as a legal center.
