Gaza: The death toll in the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 57,762 martyrs, in addition to 137,656 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated Thursday that 82 martyrs and 247 wounded arrived at hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours. It highlighted that several victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, inaccessible to ambulances and civil defense teams.

The Ministry clarified that the total death toll includes 7,200 martyrs and 25,615 wounded since March 18, when the occupation forces resumed their aggression on the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire agreement. It also noted that the death toll among those waiting for aid who arrived at hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 9, with more than 78 injured.

This development results in a total of 782 individuals seeking aid at hospitals, with over 5,179 injured. The Gaza Strip is experiencing intense Israeli bombardment targeting residential areas, medical facilities, and displacement centers. This is occurring amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions, compounded by severe shortages of food, water, and medicine, with warnings of a complete collapse of the health and environmental sectors.
