Bolu Province: The death toll from a fire that broke out earlier today at a resort in Bolu Province, northwest Turkiye, has risen to 66, with 51 others injured.

According to Qatar News Agency, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on the X platform that the fire at a hotel in Kartalkaya Ski Resort claimed 66 lives and injured 51 people. He added that firefighting efforts are still ongoing.

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire, while support is being provided to the injured.

The fire caused extensive damage to the hotel, spreading rapidly and destroying large parts of the building.
