Death Toll from Israeli Onslaught on Gaza Rises to 50,144

Gaza: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 50,144 martyrs, with 113,704 wounded, most of them women and children.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 62 martyrs and 296 injured people arrived at hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours.

The ministry noted that the death toll and injuries since the renewed aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18 has reached 792 martyrs and 1,663 wounded, while a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads as ambulances and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

The Israeli entity resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip last Tuesday, after a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on January 19. However, the occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire throughout the two months, as it continued to bomb various areas in the Gaza Strip, causing casualties and injuries. It also refused to implement the humanitarian protocol, tightening its siege on the Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
