Death Toll From Israeli Occupation’s Offensive on Gaza Rises to 52,810

Gaza: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 52,810 martyrs, in addition to 119,473 injured, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that hospitals had received 23 martyrs in the past 24 hours, along with 124 wounded individuals. The ongoing conflict continues to strain medical facilities and emergency services in the region.

The statement further noted that since the renewed Israeli assault on Gaza on Mar. 18, the number of martyrs has reached 2,701, with 7,432 wounded. The escalation has compounded the already dire situation for the residents of Gaza.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health also confirmed that several victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, with rescue teams and civil defense forces unable to reach them. This situation poses significant challenges for the ongoing rescue operations.

Israel resumed its aggression against Gaza on Mar. 18, breaking a two-month ceasefire that had gone into effect on Jan. 19, further deepening the unprecedented humanitarian crisis facing Gaza population. The resumption of hostilities has led to heightened tensions and a deteriorating humanitarian landscape.
