Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has risen to 2,696, with 8,264 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry's Health Emergency Operations Center stated that the total number of casualties from the Israeli aggression since March 2 has reached 2,696 dead and 8,264 wounded.

In a related development, Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on the town of Kounin in Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon, and the town of Baraachit was also targeted.

Israeli warplanes also struck the outskirts of Deir Siryan-Zawtar and the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiya.
