Gaza: The death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 70,668 martyrs, in addition to 171,152 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that the Strip's hospitals received one new martyr and one injury during the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of martyrs and injuries since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement last October to 394 martyrs and 1,075 injured.

The ministry further stated that since the ceasefire agreement, civil defense teams and residents have managed to recover 634 bodies of martyrs who perished in Israeli raids on residential buildings. They also highlighted that there are still thousands of victims trapped under the rubble.

Additionally, the ministry noted the death of a citizen due to a house collapse caused by the recent low-pressure system, bringing the final toll from this system to 12 deaths. This includes 11 deaths from collapsing dilapidated buildings and one case due to extreme cold.
