Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 61,020 martyrs, in addition to 150,671 wounded.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that hospitals in the Strip received, over the past 24 hours, the bodies of 87 martyrs, 8 of whom were recovered from under the rubble of destroyed buildings, and 644 wounded. It was noted that many victims remain under the rubble as ambulance and civil defense crews face challenges in reaching them due to a lack of equipment and supplies.
The ministry highlighted that among those seeking aid at hospitals, 52 Palestinian martyrs were recorded in the past 24 hours, alongside more than 352 wounded. This brings the total number of victims seeking aid at hospitals to 1,568 martyrs and over 11,230 wounded. Since the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18th, the death toll has risen to 9,519 martyrs and 38,630 wounded.
The Israeli occupation forces resumed their war on Gaza after breaching the ceasefire agreement on March 18th, ending a two-month pause. The war has targeted various areas of the Gaza Strip, which is currently facing an unprecedented famine and humanitarian crisis.
