Gaza City: The death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 50,695 martyrs, with an additional 115,338 wounded since October 7, 2023.
According to Qatar News Agency, in its daily report, Palestine's Ministry of Health stated that 26 martyrs and 113 wounded arrived at the Strip's hospitals over the past 24 hours. The ministry further reported that since the renewed Israeli aggression on March 18, the number of martyrs has reached 1,335, with 3,297 wounded.
The ministry noted that several victims remain trapped under rubble and on the streets, making it difficult for ambulances and civil defense crews to provide assistance. The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip at dawn on March 18, following a two-month ceasefire that began on January 19. However, during this period, the occupation violated the ceasefire's terms by continuing to bomb various areas in the Gaza Strip, resulting in casualties and injuries.
Additionally, the Israeli occupation refused to adhere to the humanitarian protocol and intensified its severe siege on the Strip, which is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
