A coastal surveillance unit intercepted, on Thursday south-west of Dakhla, a pirogue that had run aground with 110 Senegalese would-be irregular migration on board, including 20 minors and a woman, a military source said.
The pirogue set sail last Saturday from the Senegalese coast (Joal Diouth Port), the same source said, adding that those rescued received the necessary care before being handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for the usual administrative procedures.
