Doha: Qatar witnessed fluctuations in currency exchange rates and precious metal values. The exchange rates for various currencies were reported with both buying and selling prices. Key currencies such as the U.S. Dollar were exchanged at buying and selling rates of 3.63000 and 3.65000 respectively.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Malaysian Ringgit exchanged at rates of 0.88290 for buying and 0.95380 for selling. The Norwegian Krona saw rates of 0.35340 for buying and 0.41720 for selling. Meanwhile, the New Zealand Dollar was reported at rates of 2.14520 and 2.27120 for buying and selling respectively. The Omani Riyal showed a buying rate of 9.40100 and a selling rate of 9.64900.
Other currencies such as the Philippine Peso and Pakistani Rupee recorded a selling rate of 0.06550 and 0.01350, respectively, with the latter not having a reported buying rate. The Saudi Riyal was exchanged at a buying rate of 0.96400 and a selling rate of 0.98600. The Swedish Krona showed rates of 0.37940 for buying and 0.44620 for selling.
The Singapore Dollar was exchanged at 2.84470 for buying and 2.97230 for selling. The Syrian Pound recorded a selling rate of 0.03740 without a reported buying rate. The Tunisian Dinar and Turkish Lira showed selling rates of 1.36900 and 0.09080 respectively, with the latter having a buying rate of 0.07630.
In terms of precious metals, Silver was traded at 74.55390 for buying and 74.61890 for selling per USD. Gold was valued at buying and selling rates of 4918.75000 and 4920.75000 per USD. Platinum recorded a buying rate of 2046.41000 and a selling rate of 2055.41000 per USD. The South African Rand had a selling rate of 0.24510 with no reported buying rate.
