Damascus: The Ministry of Culture organized a poetry evening at the Damascus International Book Fair to celebrate Qatar's participation as a guest of honor. The event is part of the fair, themed "A history we write, a history we read," and will run until February 16.
According to Qatar News Agency, the poetry evening witnessed significant official and cultural attendance, including the Minister of Culture of Syria, Mohammad Yassin Saleh, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs at the Ministry of Culture, Mubarak bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. The event also attracted poets, intellectuals, and a large audience of poetry enthusiasts.
The evening was hosted by media presenter Thabet Al Saadoun and featured two distinguished Qatari poets, Mohammed Al Sada and Abdulhamid Al Youssef.
