Jerusalem – Ma’an – Dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, amid calls to carry out large-scale raids during the Sukkot/Tabernacles holiday.
197 extremists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning and afternoon raids, under the protection of the occupation forces.
The settlers performed their prayers during the storming of Al-Aqsa.
The alleged Temple groups and organizations continued their calls through their various means to carry out raids on Al-Aqsa during the week of the “Feast of Tabernacles”, which begins tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the Temple groups said that the number of decisions (orders to ban Jews from Al-Aqsa) has decreased significantly during the current year.
In the past years, the occupation police have been arresting and deporting settlers under the pretext of ‘violating the rules and regulations of presence and entry into Al-Aqsa,’ but during the recent period, especially the last two months, the police have begun to provide full protection for settlers to pray in Al-Aqs
a collectively and publicly without any interference from them.
These measures come in line with the constant statements of National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, which confirms “the right of Jews to pray in Al-Aqsa.”
