Doha: The Permanent Committee for Penal and Correctional Institutions in Qatar has initiated a nationwide awareness campaign named "Conscious Generation," aimed at engaging young students across various schools.
According to Qatar News Agency, the program spans from July 6 to August 14 and involves collaboration among multiple government entities, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Sports and Youth, Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Head of the Permanent Committee, Major General Nasser Mohammed Issa Al Sayed, highlighted that the initiative is designed to educate youth on crime prevention and instill ethical values. This is achieved through a series of lectures and awareness activities conducted in 31 clubs and youth centers throughout Qatar.
The program is structured around four central pillars: religious awareness, educational awareness, legal and security awareness, and self-awareness. These focus areas are intended to cultivate a responsible and informed generation capable of making positive contributions to society.
